Jason Robinson

Jason has been with Aero-Flite since 2006. He has operated for 12 fire seasons in a variety of roles including CL-215 Lead Pilot, Training Captain, aircraft systems instructor, Initial Attack qualified Captain, and Copilot.

He previously worked in seaplane operations in Alaska, the Caribbean, and Indian Ocean. He has operated as an FAR 121 Captain and training pilot in the US Virgin Islands. As an FAR 135 line pilot, Jason flew the de Havilland Beaver on scheduled, on-demand, and USFS chartered flights in Southeast Alaska in addition to assisting with dock and maintenance operations. His international experience includes several rotations for Kenn Borek and Maldivian Air Taxi as a Captain on the de Havilland Twin Otter seaplane.

He is currently a CL-415 Training Captain, Simulator Instructor, and FAA Designated Pilot Proficiency Examiner. Some of his responsibilities include pilot recruitment, training, scheduling, and standardization. He holds FAA ATP Multi-engine Land & Sea certificates, and has been a Certified Flight Instructor for 17 years.
