Jody Joyal

Jody joined Aero-Flite in  2024 as the Director of Business Development, supporting government agencies in the US and abroad with effective aerial firefighting response, promoting Aero-Flite’s growing and diverse fleet. Jody is an experienced aviation professional with over 33 years in the corporate, commercial, and manufacturing facets of the industry. He is a Transport Canada licensed aircraft engineer rated in the “M” and “E” categories with a reputation as a leader and expert in the Aerial Firefighting community. After joining Bombardier Aerospace on the Dash 8-400 Final Line, he moved to the CL-415 as a Pre-Flight Technician, Quality Inspector, and finally, a Supervisor of Operations. In 2005, Jody launched Vortex Aerospace and oversaw the Final Line assembly and customer factory training with Bombardier Aerospace for ten years. Jody was responsible for aircraft deliveries to customers worldwide, and at its peak, Vortex employed 70 CL-415 production professionals.
